My Avatar

I created my avatar to look similar and with the same characteristics as me. The attire on my character is very laid-back. I am wearing blue sweat pants because sweat pants are super comfortable, and I am wearing sandals because I am just way to lazy to put on actual shoes. I am wearing a Dodgers hat because the Dodgers are my favorite baseball team. I have a basketball in my hand because basketball is my absolute favorite sport. Finally my facial features are similar to me because my avatar has brown hair, brown eyes, and is smiling just like me.

Week 2, Activity 1

For the first activity of week two I wrote:

Dear Miss W,
I have enjoyed blogging very much. I had just recently finished the first weeks blogging challenge. It was extremely fun creating my own avatar and writing a poem about myself. I really liked creating my own avatar because I was able to create a virtual character of my self that looks similar to me. Wring the poem about myself was exciting because I was able to talk about my personality. You should come check out my blog

Week 2, Activity 2

This is what I wrote for the second activity on the second week:

In my opinion, a major guideline in commenting is commenting with proper spelling and grammar. I noticed in many of the comments listed in the example blogs that many of the people commenting had bad grammar by using abbreviations such as, lol and omg. I believe that these types of comments only make the comment that was posted weaker and not as strong. Also many people will start to go off topic and talk about other things than what the actual blog is about. In Liam’s blog I noticed that some of the comments that were made had bad grammar or were going off topic. Overall, a meaningful comment should be on topic, have proper grammar, and have correct spelling. If you have the chance please check out my blog https//:jadenjp3.edublogs.org

Me Online vs. Me Offline

When I am online I am very different than my offline self. When I am online I’m very careful about what I say or post. I try to not talk to anyone who I don’t know or let anyone I don’t know follow me on social media. Online I would make stupid comments or make funny jokes, but I always refrain myself from using offensive language or profanity. When I am offline I am sometimes careful about what I say, but I don’t put much attention into it. Offline, I can either be very outgoing or very shy. I am outgoing when I am with my friends, but I am very shy when I am with people I don’t know or just met. Overall my offline self is completely different than my online self.
